  • Free to attend live and for 48 hours after the event ends (i.e. free from 17 to 22 May 2021)
  • Attendees can purchase a Lifetime Pass at a reasonable price. After the event is over this will give them access to all talks

The conference will stream from Monday 17th May to Thursday 20 May 2021.

How it works

Attendees can sign up for free by subscribing to an email list dedicated to this event. Every day when the summit airs, a selection of sessions will be made publicly available on this website in a publicly announced schedule.

The sessions are a combination of pre-recorded and live content, which goes live according to schedule.

After a session is over, it can be watched for free for another 24 hours. After that time, it will be stored in the membership area available for purchase.

I want everyone to be able to attend the event, and that's why it's important that it stays free for the duration.

Format

Every day, there will be a track of sessions that are published according to a schedule. After a session is over, it goes into the session vault, which stays publicly available during the summit for attendees to catch up on missed sessions.

Media partners

We will provide iFrame embed codes for media partners and relevant platforms, which will allow them to stream the sessions from their own websites. These embed codes also show the sponsor logos.

Live case study

At the centre of the summit there will be a live UX case study that I’m leading for Cloudways with head of content Max Johns and the Cloudways team. The main angle of the project is how thinking about your clients first will bring rewards in and of itself.

Target Audience

The target audience is small/ medium web design agencies and freelancers who build websites and products but don’t really have a design background and know little about UX and human-centred design.

Usually design conferences are very industry-specific and as such, they are intimidating. This is the first conference where design and UX experts share their knowledge with web agencies that don't focus on design.

The conference will remove their fears that UX is just for the 'big guys', showing them how to win on the web by putting their users at the centre of their products.

The primary aim is to show those agencies how to increase price, profit, sales and products by applying good design and UX principles.

The secondary aim is to make a small contribution towards making the web a better place.

The UVP

I researched the target audience extensively when planning this conference.

So I worked out that in order to beat the online conference fatigue we're all suffering from, the talks should have one main takeway, one actionable tip that can be immediately implemented. This is the best way to make the conference truly valuable for the attendees.

This is the brief I've given to the speakers. Each speaker will be providing one immediately actionable tip that will make a practical difference to the attendees. All tips will be packaged in a document and (funds permitting) in a highlights video.

Format

Every day, there will be a series of sessions published according to a schedule (coming out soon). After a session is over, it goes into the session vault, which stays publicly available during the conference for attendees to catch up on missed sessions.

Lifetime Access pass

Attendees who want to be able to access the content after the end of the conference can purchase a Lifetime Access pass at a reasonable price.
